    A pioneering movement maker in the field of psychedelic education, Adele has spent decades exploring the history of psychedelics across global cultures and in the modern-day expansion of consciousness and psychological wellness. Through studies of psychology, anthropology, ceremony, and human history, she has quietly created a groundswell of progress helping to move the healing effect of the psychedelic experience forward.

  • Michael Williams

    A commitment to innovation and continuous growth has marked Michael’s life journey. Growing up in San Diego during the 1960s, he was drawn to the freedom and creativity of surfing and skateboarding. He was introduced to psychedelics during that time and was inspired by their mystical and transformative qualities. His interests led him to the Native American Church and, later, to extended study in Mexico with Huichol (Wixáritari) healers. 

  • Janine Sagert, PhD

    Janine is a leader in the intersection of spirituality, therapeutic innovation, and transformative media. With a doctorate in Culture and Mental Health from UC Berkeley, her work spans decades of cross-cultural research into consciousness and healing. She co-created and produced From Shock to Awe, a documentary on healing veterans with PTSD using psychedelic medicine. A lifelong meditation practitioner, she draws on years of experience coaching executives to foster resilience, emotional intelligence, and mindful leadership. Based in Santa Fe, she continues to help individuals integrate non-ordinary experiences into everyday life while supporting Limina’s mission.

  • Ellen Petry Leanse

    A neuroscience educator, early Apple innovator, former Stanford instructor, and podcast host, Ellen’s world and work revolve around understanding how humans think and behave. Her pioneering impact in tech grew from her deep curiosity about cognition, social connection, and creativity. She’s spent decades exploring the brain, blending insights from neuroscience, long-surviving cultures, and wisdom traditions—including the enduring role of psychedelics in human history. A trusted guide to innovators and leaders, Ellen activates sustainable ways of seeing and living in an often bewildering world. She lives in Northern New Mexico, where she learns from the land and thinks from the heart.

  • Jonathan Teo

    Jonathan is a frontier technologist and investor exploring consciousness through neural interfaces as co-founder of the Mettaverse Project. He founded Binary Capital, a $300M early-stage venture firm, and was an early investor in Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, and Bitfury. Previously, he was a General Partner at General Catalyst and a Principal at Benchmark. At Google, he helped scale global infrastructure as an early engineering leader. Named to the Forbes Midas List, Jonathan holds patents in wireless security, earned his master’s from Stanford, is an IEEE member, served in the Singapore Air Force, and is a trained pilot.

    The name Betsy Gordon may not ring a bell, but few truly grasp the profound impact she’s had on the world of psychedelic research. Quietly working behind the scenes, Gordon has played a pivotal role in advancing the field of psychedelic research studies for decades. As one of the earliest and most steadfast supporters of the Heffter Research Institute, her funding helped catalyze foundational studies that reignited scientific interest in psychedelics. Thanks to her vision and commitment, what was once a fringe area of study has grown into a dynamic and evolving field.
